As many as 42% of Wisconsin residents will experience some type of housing or food insecurity during their lifetime.  30% of senior adults who rely on assistance say they have had to chose between paying for food or paying for medical care. The U.S. Census Bureau reports that one out of five children in certain areas of Wisconsin struggle with hunger – especially when school meals are not available.
